"Flat foot" running help.?
ok ima over weight teen,i know running is the best way to lose weight,nut my flat feet(no arch)make me clumsy(the get farther apart ,like this normal= I I,me= /)so i went to the docter about this,years ago i could get orthopedic insoles for my shoes,now the docters refer me to a WALMART(- -) for "Dr. shole (or w/e)and and running is a bit dangerous for me,my mom is WAY to over protective,so i can't run out side if im outa sight distance(and neighbors here ALL spy on you if you get out the door(its a "T.V. community"))i have a tredmill,but it is very short on the sides,(so much that i have risked it before and ,slow-over weight-dizzy= very pain full trip!!and it very enclosed space too)so is the any way i could maybe put something in my
Yeah, don't go to Wal-Mart, go to a running specialty store. If you live in Illinois I recommend Dick Pond Athletics. Orthopedics are a good idea and also because you are flat footed you have to look out for injury more so make sure to stretch before and after running.
