Could I have beginning of ankylosing sponylitis or MS?
I have: 1) dull pain in hip/pelvis and slight irregularity in x-ray:L5+sacrum joined, slightly pinched on one side+sacro-illiac joint more opaque than usual, sign of inflamation? 2) one week after the above i started to get multitude of shooting sensations, something between a pinch and electricity, sometimes fairly intense, but more annoying than painful, that last about a minute. starts strong and fades. anywhere on body, but particularly extremities, more often on the left, also on face, mostly on left. these 2 symptoms for 3 months. 3) for 3 months: diarrhea/quite loose or very narrow stools daily. 4) very very tired-exercise makes me more tired 5) less ease in staying focused, more absent-minded. many blood tests done. negative for HLAB27. wbc:3200, low vitamin d. the rest very good have seen several doctors, 4 mentioned AS, but others think i don't have it. rheumatologist wants me to go to hospital for 4 days for tests
((. ps i had hep A and E 2 years ago.
Some of your symptoms are consistent with AS. The Rheumatologist is the right person to make the diagnosis. Your symptoms can be consistent with several conditions. Your previous Hepatitis can explain the rest.
It is impossible to say in a forum like this what you may have. Diagnosis of these conditions are complex. It is a good idea to have the tests. Early diagnosis of any of the conditions that this could be is helpful in treatment.
